#77 Knowledge Empowers You – Surviving Great Changes
For over thirty years I’ve written about many of the same topics I’ve seen presented on other web sites like Rumor Mill News ( RMN) and a host of other venues. In truth I’ve known many of the authors presented on such sites from time to time.
During those same years and longer I’ve experienced what many of you have experienced. Disbelief.
30 years has taught me that:
* Few are awakened when compared to the world population.
* Few can be awakened from their mental thrall.
* Many don’t want to be awakened.
* It’s not effective use of time trying to awaken the unwilling.
When the awakened individuals attempt to “help” their friends and neighbors out of concern for the future, let alone family… results are often very clear. The result is we are categorized as another of the “tin-foil-hat” population as a minor segment of world society. Smile, humor us and then walk away fast and avoid in the future, at all costs, is the kindness our fellow humans show us!
A few years ago I chose to stop my personal insanity of trying to wake people up. Doing the same thing over and over with similar result is of course the idea of such insanity. I learned the hard way … a very hard way … that awakening the many is way too energy consuming due to the negative social inertia of paradigm change. One cannot push back the ocean of thought easily even with the so called “hundreth monkey strategy”.
Now those predicted problems, those of the Awakened Class have understood for some time, are here and accelerating to what appears to be an inevitable series of unpleasant events.
In an effort to regain sanity, now I concentrate upon solutions and simple strategies that do not depend on financial status to empower oneself for survival.
I discuss simple and effective strategies for individuals… which can become great social power changers in small bites any person can swallow.
I will be posting such strategies over the next few weeks after post #77, (this one).
Here is an example of a strategy for survival in any large scale event wherein you might find yourself. (Assuming of course you are not the bug, in a bug and windshield event.)
If you are one of the witnesses to such an event like perhaps… economic meltdown…large scale power outages etc… then you might have followed the usual strategies most think about.
Becoming a “prepper” to some degree or remaining blissfully ignorant of impending events, believing some higher government authority will save you.( They will won’t they?)
If you are a chooser of the prepper strategy and you find yourself without the funds to actually be a prepper by storing this or that… you still have powerful opportunities.
Here is just one. Become a MacGyver.
This concept is a term coined by many to describe a person who emulates the television character MacGyver played by Richard Dean Anderson.
The short version is: Anderson portrayed a man who had a lot of knowledge about many divergent areas of knowledge …taking common, available resources and innovatively changing them into useful tools and other items for survival.
You can emulate a MacGyver strategy by using your internet or library for gathering free information which your unawakened neighbors have not studied. The many free videos on Youtube are one source for fast learning.
Example, if power goes out from an EMP event how will one purify water with no electric stove? Maybe there is no gas either because the machinery for pressurizing lines is out? You have no wood. Are you doomed to drink bad water?
If you have added a little knowledge to your inner mind library, you will know you can use a cardboard box or discarded auto tire and some common aluminum foil ( you can unfold your foil hat if necessary), then you CAN boil water in a pot or jar using the suns daytime energy!
Such knowledge may seem unnecessary today … but what if? Such knowledge is free. It’s presently easy to acquire. AND… it will be valuable to you in the event of an emergency situation.
You can and probably will trade your knowledge for supplies others might have on hand.
Few will do well in times of great challenge unless they have knowledge and association with others to form a village of association.
The important village members will have knowledge not just supplies of one kind or another.
Knowledge is indeed power but knowing how to use that knowledge is even more important.
